On September 18, 2025, Solar Village Ethiopia in collaboration with Oxfam GB Ethiopia successfully hosted a high-level workshop and showcase on “Strategic Partnership for Sustainable Growth: Engaging the Private Sector in Ethiopia’s Climate-Smart Agriculture” at the Skylight Hotel, Addis Ababa.

The event was graced by the presence of senior government officials, including:

• H.E. Mr. Solomon Soka, State Minister of the Ministry of Labor & Skills, who delivered the opening speech, and

• H.E. Prof. Eyasu Elias, State Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, who delivered the closing speech.

The workshop brought together distinguished participants from the Government of Ethiopia, embassies, the private sector, development partners, and civil society organizations.
