Solar Assembly Plant in Bishoftu: A New Era for Water Pumping Solutions
Jabdu and Solar Village teams recently held discussions in Bishoftu, Oromia, focusing on the assembly of solar water pumping systems. Their goal is to accelerate the transition from diesel-powered pumps to sustainable solar solutions, benefiting farmers on a large scale.
As part of their commitment, they have decided to import various sizes of solar water systems in the near future, with long-term plans to establish local assembly and manufacturing. This initiative aims to enhance irrigation efficiency and provide both small- and large-scale farmers with reliable, cost-effective water solutions.
By working together, the teams are taking a significant step toward solving agricultural water challenges while promoting renewable energy in Ethiopia
